RE: Bad salesmen

When I walk onto an RV lot looking at new rigs, the very first question I ask the sales person is do they own an RV and if so how often do they use it. If they answer to the negative, I ask to speak with a sales person who does own an RV and knows how it works.

RE: trailer accessories are killing me

CW knows me by site. I just leave my credit card with them so the Boss With The Hot Sauce can order what ever she needs.

RE: Yosemite in May with bikes, question

Definitely take the bikes. Great areas to ride around in. Don't have a dog, so can't help you on that one.

RE: Camping chairs of comfort?

LaFuma folding/recliner. Well built and works as a zero gravity chair that is easy on the back.

RE: how do you ignore the pesty fellow camper/neighbor

Just show him your nervous twitch and then start drooling . . . he will either go away or you will become the best of friends.

RE: No tv when camping was I wrong.

I have the same issue with kids/tv/dvd. I think when the weather goes bad and everybody is inside, you will need to have sometype of distraction. It could be a tv/dvd, board game, or card game.

RE: 10' X 10' canopy

I have two EZ-up canopies. A 10X10 and a 6x6 and they work great. You need to anchor these down because they can turn into a sail if it gets windy, even more so if you add the side panels.

RE: Are we unreasonable? Recent Camping experience...

Kids are kids, and do make a lot of noise sometimes. If there is not a need to keep the noise down, then there is not a problem. But when a camping neighbor makes a request to keep the noise down, the request should be honored.

RE: Sunnybrook RV's

We have a 2001 27FKS that we bought new. Great trailer, no problems.

RE: Any last words of advice before we take the TT plunge?

Make certain the interior on your new trailer is suitable for long term indoor stay in case of bad weather.
